Weight Issues
Have you always had weight issues?

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reports 67% of adults (that is, two-thirds of Australian adults aged 18 years and over) were overweight or obese in 2017-2018.

Breaking that down further 35.6% of people were overweight and 31.3% of people were obese.

Since 1995 the percentage of adults aged 18 years and over who were overweight or obese has increased within Australia from 56.2% to 67%.

Overeating, lack of exercise, food cravings, emotional eating and so on are all linked to weight. The same is true of our beliefs and negative self-talk, for example, “I have tried but I just can’t lose weight”.

However, the issue is rarely about the weight itself though.

We can become conditioned to link food to comfort through eating to soothe our feelings when we are upset. Or being rewarded with ice-cream or lollies for good behaviour when we were young. This can set up a pattern to believe that food fixes everything.

And that’s just not true and can lead to weight issues later in life.

Change your relationship with food

As babies, we only eat when we are hungry, so this conditioning we have developed can be undone, and you can reactivate the healthy attitude to food that you were born with. The feelings and pictures that you have towards food play an important part in changing your behaviour to it.

People often say they are stressed and proceed to eat a tub of ice cream or a block of chocolate, but this doesn’t stop the stress. It just gives you more stress as you are harming your body. This is a negative habit of eating to make our feelings go away.

You can change your relationship with food by changing your thought patterns. This will give you the opportunity to change your eating habits. Then you will be able to positively reach and maintain your ideal weight for life.

How to fix the underlying issues

Changing your language and the beliefs you use daily will change your relationship with food. This puts you back in control of your thoughts. The good news is that we can change these words, pictures and emotions with hypnosis.

By using Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) we will uncover in regression the root cause of your weight issue, so it can be understood and then changed rapidly by using unique tools and techniques.

Then rewiring your subconscious mind with new empowering positive beliefs to make lasting changes.
