Insomnia
What is insomnia and how do I fix it?

This is a common question I get asked all the time.

What is insomnia? Insomnia includes having trouble falling asleep, finding it difficult to stay asleep and waking up in the early hours of the morning without being able to get back to sleep. For some people, this can continue for years.

These effects can be devastating.

Not being able to go to sleep or sleep for most of the night can mentally and physically stress out your body and impact your everyday life. This can lead to impaired functioning during the day by having problems of overwhelming tiredness, poor concentration, worrying about not sleeping, moodiness and headaches.

How do you get insomnia?

Babies are born with the ability to sleep easily anywhere; they are born programmed to sleep.

Sleep is nature’s restorer which revives the body and mind emotionally and physically.

Sometimes insomnia can be temporary due to a difficulty within the family or a problem at work and will stop on its own. However, persistent insomnia can have links to an emotional or physical issue, which you might not even acknowledge, such as anxiety, stress or depression.

Another reason for insomnia can be that as you are so busy during the day, this quiet time of night is when you like to problem solve your worries that are nagging away at you.

By trying to find a solution at this time will stimulate your mind instead of making it even harder to get to sleep when you want to.

Snoring or someone else’s snoring can impact on getting a good night’s sleep.

Then there are also medical conditions like sleep apnoea which can cause insomnia.

It doesn’t have to be like this

Working together with RTT hypnosis, we can identify the root cause of your insomnia through regression and then apply techniques to change the perception.

Then we can reprogram your subconscious mind to relax, enabling you to discover your powers of deep restful sleep that come to you easily and effortlessly.
